UNILORIN Can Only Cater for 9,000 out of 105,000 Applicants



The Vice-Chancellor, University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, said over 105,000 candidates applied to the University of Ilorin in the 2014/2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.

According to the VC, UNILORIN was the most sought-after university in Nigeria for admission by candidates, coming after it is the University of Benin, Edo State.

He stated that, unfortunately, UNILORIN had the capacity to only admit 9,000 of the 105,000 candidates.

UNILORIN was best sought-after university for admission because of the institution’s stable academic calendar and quality academic standard.
