Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Gets New Vice-Chancellor

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has announced the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor.

Former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Ahmadu Bello University, Prof Kabir Bala has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the institution.

Bala’s appointment was announced at Arewa House in Kaduna today (Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020) by Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, ABU Governing Council, Malam Adamu Fika shortly after the council meeting that deliberated the selection and appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor for the university.

His appointment, according to Fika, will take effect from 1st May, 2020.

Prof Bala, who was a Dean of School of Postgraduate School, Ahmadu Bello University, is a Professor of Construction Management.
