4 ABU Lecturers Die in a Car Accident



The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has been thrown into a mourning mood following the death of its four lecturers in a car accident on the Abuja-Kaduna highway on Friday night.

The lecturers, it was learnt, were returning to Zaria after a function in Abuja when they met their untimely death.

Those who died include Professor Samuel Kafewo, Dr Martins Anyegba, Nana Aisha Ali, and another yet to be identified person.

One of the victims, Professor Jenkeri Okwori is said to be critically injured, according to the Head of Directorate of Public Affairs, ABU, Dr. Ismail Shehu, who confirmed the incident to reporters.

All of them were Development Communication experts and also lecturers at the ABU’s Department of Theatre and Performing Arts.
