UTME Subjects: Mathematics, Economics and one (1) other subject

Actuarial Science: Direct Entry Admission Requirements

  • Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include English Language and Mathematics.

Actuarial Science: Special Consideration for UTME & DE Candidates


  • (i) JOS – Same as in Marketing.
  • (ii) LAGOS accepts very good passes in three (3) JUBEB/’A’ Level subjects: Mathematics and any two (2) of Financial Accounting, Geography, Government, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, Chemistry, Physics.
  • (iii) ABU requires ‘A’ level Mathematics.


  • (i) JOS – Same as in Marketing
  • (ii) LAGOS requires ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two (2) of Financial Accounting, Data Processing, CRS/IS, Further Mathematics, Geography, Government, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Commerce, Civic Education, Insurance.


  • (i) JOS – Same as in Marketing.
  • (ii) LAGOS requires Mathematics, Economics and any one (1) of Geography, Government, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Commerce.
