The AIG Public Leaders Programme (AIG PLP) presents an outstanding opportunity for emerging African public sector leaders to enhance their leadership skills and gain the knowledge required to drive change in their respective countries. In partnership with the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government, the programme provides an immersive, world-class executive education experience led by renowned public policy experts and educators.

AIG Public Leaders Programme Programme Design and Objectives

Designed for senior public leaders and those transitioning into senior leadership roles in the public sector within the next three to seven years, the AIG PLP aims to accelerate skill development through engaging classroom discussions, practical exercises, simulations, and group work. The programme’s goal is to empower participants with the necessary skills to cultivate transformative cultures of excellence, effectiveness, and integrity within their institutions and the broader public sector.

The AIG PLP focuses on cultivating critical skills such as:
