If admission does not commence in the approved session, the approval will lapse.

Future admissions will require a fresh resource inspection visitation initiated by the institution.

Accreditation Requirements

The approved programmes will undergo full accreditation when the first sets of students enter their fourth semester.

The Polytechnic must invite the NBTE to conduct this accreditation exercise at the appropriate time.

Failure to secure accreditation within the specified period will prevent further admissions into these programmes.

Next Steps for the Institution

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic is expected to commence admissions promptly to avoid losing the approval.

The Polytechnic should also ensure compliance with NBTE guidelines for accreditation.

The introduction of these programmes marks a significant milestone in expanding academic opportunities at the institution.
