As part of activities organized towards the hosting of the South West Chairmen and Secretaries of the Anti Corruption and Transparency Monitoring Unit (ACTU), has decided to have an Essay Competition in order to sensitize the Polytechnic Community against corrupt practices.
The topic of the Competition and guidelines are as follows:
Topic: The Role of Future Leaders in the Fight Against Corruption, Particularly in Nigeria Tertiary Institutions.
The Essay is open to only the students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.
- It should be an original word processed work of the Writer and it should not be more than 450
- The Writer should be ready to make an oral presentation to a Panel of Judges that will screen the Essay and be able to read it at any Public Forum within the Polytechnic.
- Contestants should use only their Matriculation numbers, and submit the Essay personally in a sealed envelope to the Secretary of the Legal Unit in the administrative Block latest by 3:00pm on Thursday 3rd December, 2015
- Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd selected contestants
