With four more days to the end of this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, information from many stakeholders still does not sound so pleasant.
Candidates who sat for the UTME’s CBT, which started 10 March with many rigour and hitches, have started receiving their results in batches few days after the examinations.
From states, such as Lagos, Rivers, Ekiti, Osun, Delta and more, many candidates wore long faces, just as some called for the cancellation of the examination.
However, the question being asked by many stakeholders in the education sector is: Having subjected these candidates to untold rigour in the quest to gain admission into tertiary institutions, is there any need for these candidates to write post UTME?
What is your take?
