This is to inform the general public that the online application and screening for admission into the Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA) NCE Programme is still ongoing.
Interested applicants are advised to follow the instructions provided below to complete their application.
Please note that the deadline for the NCE application is 30th December, 2025.
The gates are open again at Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare. This week, the college rolled out its Post UTME forms, officially kicking off admission into its National Certificate in Education programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year. For many young hopefuls, this is the first knock on the door to a teaching career.
It’s not just any school either. ASCOEA has built a name for itself in training teachers and shaping minds. Now, it’s looking for the next set of students to fill its lecture halls.
Who can apply
For the regular NCE programme, applicants must:
- Score at least 100 in the JAMB UTME.
- Have a minimum of three relevant credits, including English and/or Mathematics.
Those aiming for the Pre-NCE route should have at least two passes. The college has also introduced a special track for NCE Special and Adult Education — a fresh option for those taking a different learning path.

The screening will run:

- Venue: Chris Abutu Garuba Hall
- Time: 9:00 am prompt each day
Applicants can choose between attending in person or completing the process online.
What to bring
Whether you turn up physically or log in, you’ll need:
- Original ‘O’ Level statement of result, signed by your school principal.
- An active scratch card for WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS.
- 2025 JAMB result slip.
- Original and photocopies of all credentials.
- Payment receipt of N2,000 for the screening fee.
For online screening, the portal at ASCOEA Applicant Portal opens on Monday 18 August 2025.
