Tuition Scholarship Programmes
For Undergraduates
Pioneering students – the first 100 to enrol in the undergraduate programmes – will receive a 10% tuition discount. Further, AUST offers incremental tuition discounts based on JAMB scores, ranging from 10% for scores of 200-250, up to 20% for scores exceeding 300. Additionally, discounts of 10%, 15% and 20% will be applied to students achieving 5A1, 7A1, and all A1 respectively in WAEC/NECO examinations.
In a move to support its local community, AUST will also provide two full tuition scholarships for any qualified undergraduate student from the university’s host community.
For Postgraduates
For AUST first-class graduates pursuing MSc at AUST, the university offers a generous 100% tuition scholarship. Graduates with degrees other than first class will be eligible for a 40% tuition discount. Students successful in the university’s entrance examination can receive a 25% tuition discount. Similarly, all PhD applicants who meet the university’s entrance requirements can avail a 25% discount on tuition fees.
Multiple Sibling Tuition Discount Policy
If two or more siblings enrol simultaneously as full-time students at AUST, their family is eligible for a progressive tuition discount. The first sibling receives a 10% discount, the second 15%, the third 20%, and the fourth and any additional siblings will receive a 25% tuition discount. The discount will be applied in the order of each sibling’s enrolment and will be valid as long as there is continuous enrolment at the university.
Upfront or Early Payment Discount Scheme
While parents are permitted to present a payment plan or pay tuition fees in instalments, the university encourages full annual tuition fee payments at the start of the course with a 5% early payment discount.
Alumni Discount
AUST appreciates the loyalty of its alumni. Eligible university alumni commencing a programme will receive a 20% discount on their tuition fees, applicable to full-time and part-time postgraduate programmes.
Accommodation Scholarship
Lastly, in recognition of academic excellence, the university offers a 50% discount on accommodation for five exceptional students with excellent JAMB and WAEC/NECO results.
These comprehensive discount and scholarship programmes reiterate AUST’s commitment to making education more affordable and accessible while recognising and rewarding academic excellence. Students are encouraged to utilise these opportunities as they embark on their academic journey at AUST.
