BSU Notice to Prospective Corpers on NYSC Mobilization


NYSC mobilization guidelines to all the final year students (400L or 500L) of the Benue State University, Markurdi (BSUM).

BSUM NYSC Mobilization Guidelines

If you are a 400L or 500L student and you have not confirmed your status on JAMB Matriculation List, you may not be mobilized for the NYSC scheme.

RECOMMENDED: Check your Status on JAMB Matriculation List.

There are 5 different messages, one of which you will encounter as you check your status on Jamb matriculation list:

  1. Congratulations
  2. Kindly print jamb admission letter
  3. Kindly print jamb result slip
  4. Kindly print jamb admission letter and result slip
  5. You are not given admission yet

A). For students that got “congratulation” as prompt message, you have been confirmed by JAMB, hence you will be mobilized for NYSC.

B). For students that got “kindly print jamb admission letter” as prompt message,  print out your admission letter immediately. You are not to submit the admission letter.

C). For students that got “Kindly print jamb result slip” as prompt message, print out your result slip immediately.  This message is usually not applicable to DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS you are not to submit the result slip.

D). For students that got “kindly print jamb admission letter and result slip” as prompt message, print out *2 things Jamb admission letter and result slip* immediately. You are not to submit any of the documents.

E). For students that got “You have not been given admission yet” as prompt message should immediately proceed to Jamb Accredited CBT centre to do regularization of admissions on jamb portal.  A form will be generated online which should be submitted to the Vice Chancellor/Rector Office and expect a response via email from jamb.  The message will direct you to print out your admission letter

Note:
Any student without jamb admission or have not printed jamb admission letter will not be mobilized for NYSC scheme.  It’s a policy that affects all institution that produce candidates for national service.
