Bayero University Kano (BUK) Admission List for 2021/2022 Academic Session | 1st, 2nd, Supplementary I & II Batch

BUK admission list is out — The first, second, supplementary I and II lists of candidates offered provisional admission into the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Degree programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session is out. Successfully admitted candidates are to print their BUK admission letters online.

This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) post UTME screening exercise that the management of the university has released the names of successfully admitted candidates.

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) admission list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the university various undergraduate programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session.

How to Check BUK Admission List

At the time of this publication, BUK prospective students can only access their admission status from the list of names posted on the NOTICE BOARD within the school premises.

Candidates admitted in the 2021/2022 academic session are expected to do the following; 

  1. If you have not already uploaded your results, visit the JAMB CAPS portal to do so.
  2. Then, after a few days, log in to the JAMB CAPS portal again to print your admission letter. This may take a while because the University has to propose and recommend candidates to JAMB.
  3. Note that only JAMB approved candidates would be able to accept and print the JAMB Admission Letter. Candidates are therefore expected to keep trying the JAMB CAPS portal until they are able to print their letters. While trying, one of the following messages would be seen on the JAMB portal:
    1. “Not admitted”
    2. “Admission in progress or admission is being processed”, and
    3. “Admitted” if you are given admission
      Only candidates in “c” above can accept and print their JAMB Admission Letters.
  4. Candidates that print their admission letters should liaise with their Level Co-ordinators in the department where admission is granted for the correct courses to be taken and commence lectures as from 22nd November, 2021. 
  5. Candidates should continue checking the BUK portal at “www.mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening/”   to do the online screening from Monday, 29th November, 2021 to get their registration number.
  6. Then proceed to www.mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/ug/ to register with the University by making central payment and register your courses online. Print all the relevant printouts and submit to your Level Co-ordinator for departmental documentation.

ALTERNATIVELY, candidates can also access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:

  1. Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.
  2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
  5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your BUK admission status.

Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.

NOTE: This post will be updated immediately the list is available on the university website.

You will be able to follow the procedure outlined below once the list is uploaded on the university website.

  1. Go to the BUK admission portal at https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/bukat2021/bukat_login.php.
  2. Supply your JAMB Registration Number and UTME Score in the required columns.
  3. Finally, click on the Login Button to access your BUK admission status.

Please note that if you have not already updated your O’Level results with JAMB, you are required to do so ASAP.
