The management of the Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the schedule for the 2019/2020 academic session matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students. The amount and procedure for collection of academic gowns too have been released.
BUK Matriculation Ceremony Schedule & Procedure for Collection of Academic Gowns
This is to inform all 2019/2020 Academic Session Fresh Students that their Matriculation comes up on Thursday, 5th March, 2020 by 2:00pm in the Convocation Arena, New Campus.
You are expected to be fully dressed in Academic Gown to be collected from the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records as from Monday, 2nd March, 2020 upon payment of N1000=00 through the Remita.
The payment receipt should be verified by the Bursary Department before collection of the Academic Gown.
Please, note that Matriculation is compulsory. Lectures for Level 100 and 200 students will end by 1:00pm on Thursday 5th March, 2020.
All gowns collected, must be returned after the event, at the venue on that day.
