Strike Continues until FG Addresses our Demands - ASUP

Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) President, Dr Emmanuel Asage, declared in Abuja yesterday, at the inauguration of a technical committee on the Dual mode of award of Degree by colleges of Education, that they will not call-off the strike they embarked upon until the federal government addressed their demands.

Asage further said, “it is not about ego game, there is no victor, no vanquished in this matter. We are happy at the inauguration of the committee, but we look forward to concluding negotiations on our outstanding salaries, guarantees that there will be no victimisation of those who participated in the strike, and the signing of a final agreement before we can call off the strike”.
