Coronavirus: GSU Suspends Academic Activities
Gombe State University (GSU) has suspended academic activities over the new coronavirus disease.
Further to the Circular from the National Universities Commission (NUC) Ref. No. NUC/ES/138/VOL. 63/91, dated 20th March, 2020, directing all Universities to close for one (1) month as part of measures to contain and prevent the spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19); the Vice-Chancellor. Professor Aliyu Usman El-Nafaty, has on behalf of Senate, directed the closure of the University for Students for a period of one (1) month with effect from Monday, 23th March, 2020.
Accordingly, all Students are hereby advised to vacate the University Campus from Monday, 23th March, 2020.
Academic activities are expected to resume on Thursday, 23th April, 2020.
