The newly constituted Executive Council of the Student Consultative Forum of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State has been inaugurated.

Speaking while inaugurating the Forum, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Kunle Oloyede enjoined the students’ representative body to work harmoniously with the Management in order to achieve the vision of the University.

He said the essence of constituting the Forum was to create an avenue for the students to dialogue with the Management. He warned against mistaking the Forum for student unionism.

The Vice-Chancellor encouraged members of the Executive Council to always approach Management on matters affecting the well-being of their members. He promised that Management would always give listening ears to the student body.

Prof. Oloyede revealed that the various construction works going on in the University would be completed before the commencement of the 2016/2017 academic session.
He assured the students of the continued support of Management.

In her inaugural speech, the Chairperson of the Forum, Miss. Chukwudi Chinwe Precious promised an all-inclusive administration. She said that the interest of her colleagues would be prioritized.

Miss. Chukwudi called on the entire student population to support members of the Executive Council in their day to day running of the Forum. The Chairperson affirmed that dialogue would be adopted as the only means of resolving issues with the University Management.
