Who is an Ideal Candidate for the PDE Programme?
To be considered for admission into the PDE programme, candidates must satisfy one or more of the following prerequisites:
- University Degree in a Relevant Field: A recognised university degree or professional qualification in a field pertinent to the programme.
- Higher National Diploma (HND): Accredited HND qualifications in various domains like Building, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Accountancy, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, or Fine and Applied Arts.
- Government-Approved Certifications: A Federal Government-approved Certificate in Secretarial Studies in Shorthand/Typewriting at speeds of 100/50 W.P.M., along with a WAEC/G.C.E. ‘O’ level with passes in at least five subjects, including the English Language.
- WAEC Technical Advanced or City and Guild Certifications: Candidates may also possess WAEC Technical Advanced/City and Guild final or full Technological Certificates (FTC) from the City and Guild of London Institute in Building, Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Trades.
