FCFMT Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 Session | ND Full-Time
Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Tech has opened applications for its 2025/2026 ND programmes. This post explains who can apply, the courses available, and how to get started.
The Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology (FCFMT), Lagos, has opened its post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic year. If you’re aiming for a National Diploma (ND) in any of their listed fields, now is the time to act.
General Entry Requirements
To apply, you’ll need:
- Five O’Level credits in relevant subjects from WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB
- These can be from one or two sittings
- You must have scored 100 or above in the 2025 UTME
- You should also upload your O’Level results to the JAMB portal
- FCFMT must be your first-choice school on JAMB

National Diploma Programmes Available
1. Marine Engineering
- Credits in: English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and one from Tech Drawing, Further Maths, Biology, etc.
- UTME subjects: English, Physics, Maths, Chemistry
2. Fisheries Technology
- Credits in: English, Maths, Chemistry, Biology or Agric, and one of Physics, Economics or Add Maths
- UTME subjects: English, Chemistry, Biology or Agric, Economics
3. Nautical Science
- Credits in: English, Maths, Physics, Geography and one from Chemistry, Tech Drawing or Economics
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Physics, Geography
4. Maritime Transport and Business Studies
- Credits in: English, Maths, and any three from Economics, Geography, Physics, Biology, Accounting or Marketing
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Economics or Commerce, Geography or Government
5. Industrial and Labour Relations
- Credits in: English, Maths, and three from Economics, Government, Bookkeeping, Literature or a relevant NCE
- UTME subjects: English, Government, Economics or Commerce, Literature
6. Mechanical Engineering
- Credits in: English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and one from Tech Drawing, Agric, Economics, Auto Mechanics, etc.
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry
7. Computer Science
- Credits in: English, Maths, Physics, and two from Chemistry, Further Maths, Geography, Economics
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Physics, and either Geography, Economics or Chemistry
8. Hydrology & Water Resources Management
- Credits in: English, Maths, Physics or Geography, and two other science subjects
- At least a pass in Chemistry and Biology required
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry
9. Oceanography and Fisheries Science
- Credits in: English, Maths, Chemistry, and two other relevant subjects
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Geography, Biology
10. Science Laboratory Technology
- Credits in: English, Maths, and two from Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Agric, plus one from Economics, Geography, or Tech Drawing
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Chemistry, Geography
11. Public Administration
- Credits in: English, Maths, Government or History, and two others from Economics, CRK/IRK, Biology or Agric, Home Economics, Business Studies
- UTME subjects: English, Maths, Economics and one other related subject
