Procedures for Registration at Federal Polytechnic Bida

Steps to Obtain Student ID and ePortal Password

1. Visit the Federal Polytechnic Bida ePortal.
2. Select 2024/2025 Admission Status and Registration Procedure to confirm admission and retrieve your Student ID.
3. Choose Request for new Password on the ePortal login page.
4. Enter your Student ID and click Request for Password.
5. A page will show an email address provided by the polytechnic.
6. Access the email through Gmail or the Federal Polytechnic Bida website.
7. Use the full polytechnic email as your login and your JAMB Registration Number as the password, then change this password.
8. Check the inbox or spam for your ePortal password or use the default password: student.
9. Log in to the ePortal with your Student ID and the ePortal password.
10. Download your Admission Letter and update your personal records.

Payment of Acceptance Fee

• After updating your profile, the system will show the acceptance fee payment options.
• Choose a payment method (debit/credit card, mobile money, QR code, USSD, or bank transfer) and follow the instructions.

Online Clearance Procedure

1. Log in to the ePortal if you haven’t done so.
2. Click on Student Data, then select Academic Records.
3. Enter your O’level result details and upload required documents.
4. Submit the records for clearance and wait up to 24 hours for approval.
5. Once cleared, pay the registration fee to receive a Matriculation Number.
6. Complete the medical and course registration forms online.

Required Documentation for Federal Polytechnic Bida

After online registration, submit these documents to the Registry Department.

• Copies of academic credentials or printouts from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
• Two recent passport-sized photographs.
• Online payment receipts.
• Local Government Council indigene confirmation certificate.
• Letter of attestation of good character from a parent, guardian, or sponsor.
• Certificate of medical fitness from a recognised hospital.

All registration tasks, including fee payments, must be completed within four weeks of receiving your admission letter.
