The Governing Council of the Federal University Dutse (FUD) has approved the appointment of Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed as the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council Federal University Dutse Alhaji Ahmed Alti have announced the appointment of Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed as the new Vice-Chancellor Federal University Dutse.

In a press briefing to journalists in Dutse, Alhaji Alti said thirty-five professors applied and were shortlisted for interview and three best candidates emerged from which council chose Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed as the new VC.
The tenure of the incumbent VC, Professor Fatima Batul Muktar expires in February 2021.
Prof. Abdulkarim who is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Services of the University is a distinguished professor of biotechnology
