Eligibility Criteria for FUHSI Post UTME Screening

To participate in the FUHSI Post UTME screening, candidates must meet specific criteria:

1. First Choice Institution: Candidates must choose FUHSI as their first choice in the UTME.
2. Minimum UTME Scores: Candidates need the following scores for their preferred courses:
   • Medicine and Surgery: 220
   • Doctor of Physiotherapy: 200
   • Nursing Science: 210
   • Medical Laboratory Science: 200
   • Audiology: 180
   • Biochemistry: 180
   • Prosthetics and Orthotics: 180
   • Biotechnology & Molecular Biology: 180
   • Environmental Health Science: 180
   • Information Technology and Health Informatics: 180
   • Microbiology: 180
   • Nutrition & Dietetics: 180

3. Change of Institution: Candidates who did not select FUHSI as their first choice can switch on the JAMB portal.
4. O’Level Requirements: Candidates applying for MBBS, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Doctor of Physiotherapy must have five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects in one sitting.

Direct Entry Candidates Requirements

Direct Entry (DE) applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Medicine & Surgery: A minimum of 13 points.
• Nursing Science: A minimum of 12 points.
• Relevant Degree: A Second Class Upper Division Degree from a recognised university in a related field is acceptable for MBBS and Nursing Science.
