Professor Ediga Bede Agbo Takes Charge
Professor Ediga Bede Agbo has been appointed as the acting Vice Chancellor of FUHSO.
His appointment was confirmed during a special meeting of the Governing Council held on the seventeenth of October, 2024.
The meeting was chaired by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Engr. Ohieku Muhammed Salami.
Transition in Leadership
During the same meeting, the pioneer Vice Chancellor, Professor Innocent Ujah, was suspended.
The suspension followed allegations of gross misconduct and deliberate disregard for the authority of the Governing Council.
This decision led to the immediate appointment of Professor Ediga Agbo as the acting Vice Chancellor for a period of six months.
