FULOKOJA Notice to Graduating Students

The Federal University, Lokoja (FULOKOJA) announces key information for all graduands of the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions.

As you prepare for the upcoming convocation, ensure that you complete all necessary steps to avoid any delays.

Check Graduation Status and Convocation Fees

Graduands are advised to visit the FULOKOJA website to confirm their names and graduation status.

Whether attending the convocation or not, all graduands must pay the convocation fee.

Collection and Return of Academic Gowns

Academic gowns will be available from Monday, October 21, 2024, at the respective faculties.

Graduands must present payment receipts to collect their gowns.

Graduands should return their gowns by Tuesday, October 29, 2024, to avoid late return fines.

A fine of N500 per day will apply for late returns.

Loss of gown will incur a replacement fee of N35,000 for first-degree graduands and N45,000 for postgraduate graduands.

Rehearsal and Dress Code

Graduands are required to attend the rehearsal for the Academic Procession on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Convocation Arena, Mini Stadium, Felele.

Attendance at the procession is mandatory for all graduands participating in the ceremony.

All graduands must wear the approved academic outfit and formal English wear, including a suit, shirt, and tie for men, or a skirt and blouse, gown, or traditional attire for women.

Payment Information

Payment for convocation materials has started from Monday, September 30, 2024.

Graduands should log into their portal on the FULOKOJA website to make the required payments.
