Important Notes:

If you’re considering applying to the Federal University Lokoja for the 2023/2024 Academic Session, it’s crucial to understand the admission requirements and guidelines. Below is a detailed breakdown to guide prospective students:

1. Academic Requirements

  • Applicants must have at least five (5) O’ level credits in subjects relevant to their desired course. It’s essential to secure these credits within two (2) sittings.
  • For those eyeing Medicine and Nursing Science, the bar is a tad higher. A single sitting must yield at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO in the pertinent subjects.
  • Regardless of the course, a credit in English Language is non-negotiable for admission into any programme at the Federal University Lokoja. More detailed prerequisites for O’level, UTME, and DE courses can be found on the Federal University Lokoja’s official website.

2. CBT Screening Eligibility

  • Only those with O’level results are permitted to engage in the CBT screening exercise.

3. Uploading O’level Results

4. Preference for FUL

  • Only those who have selected FUL as their primary institution and have participated in the CBT Screening Exercise will be in the run for the 2023/2024 admissions.

5. Screening Success ≠ Admission

  • A positive screening outcome isn’t a golden ticket. The Central Admissions Committee of the University will employ other criteria in the admission decision-making process.

6. Honesty is the Best Policy

  • Any inconsistencies, misrepresentations, or omissions in your application can have severe consequences. Detection at any juncture will result in instant admission disqualification. And a heads-up: there’ll be no fee refunds.

7. Strict Adherence

  • All applicants must follow the instructions diligently.

Prospective students are urged to be meticulous in their application process and ensure all requirements are met. Best of luck with your application!

Closing Date

Online registration for the Post-UTME CBT screening will end at midnight on Friday, October 20, 2023. Potential students are urged to apply on time and prepare adequately for the screening process.

It’s an exciting period for prospective students, and as FULOKOJA continues its legacy of academic excellence, applicants are reminded to stay informed and ensure they meet all requirements to boost their chances of gaining admission.
