The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) is now inviting qualified applicants to apply for admission into its one-year non-residential Pre-Degree Programme for the 2023/2024 academic session.

FUNAI Pre-Degree Subject Combinations, Duration and Eligibility

Duration

The Pre-degree programme runs for two semesters over the course of one year.

Eligibility

Candidates for the programmes must possess a minimum of five credits in five relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in a maximum of two sittings. Candidates wishing to study Medicine and Surgery are required to have the necessary credits in one sitting.

The AE-FUNAI Centre for Educational Services (AE-FUNAI CES) will prepare candidates for admission into Bachelors’ degree programmes across numerous faculties, including Agriculture, College of Medicine, Education, Engineering and Technology, Environmental Sciences, Humanities, Law, Management and Social Sciences, and Science.

How to Apply for FUNAI Pre-Degree Admission Form

The application fee is Ten thousand Naira (N10,000.00). Applicants can apply through the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal (www.ces.funai.edu.ng) by clicking on ePortal and selecting “Start Online Application” from the drop-down menu.

1. Visit the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal at www.ces.funai.edu.ng.
2. On the menu bar, click on “ePortal” and select “Start Online Application” from the drop-down menu.
3. Provide your email address and other required information to begin your online application.
4. Create an Account and log in with your Application No. and Password.
5. Follow the necessary processes to enter your personal information and other required details.
6. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) for payment on your e-Portal Account.
7. Make payment conveniently using your Credit/Debit Card or at any Nigerian Bank branch.
8. After successful payment, click the required button to continue your online application.
9. Ensure all sections of your application form are correctly filled.
10. Click on “Complete Application” to submit your application to our online server.
11. You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt via email and SMS to your Mobile Phone.
12. Print two colored copies of your Application Form for your records.

FUNAI Pre-Degree Application Closing Date

The deadline for submission of online forms is Thursday, 31st August 2023 at 11.59 pm.

FUPRE Pre-Degree General Information

1. Applicants to the 2022/2023 preliminary programme are advised to check the AE-FUNAI CES Website (www.ces.funai.edu.ng) for other relevant information.
2. Applicants must provide a recent coloured passport photograph (taken not earlier than 3 months before the time of application) with a white background. Selfies, blurred or webcam photos are strictly prohibited. Applicants who upload the wrong bio-data and credentials will be disqualified and have their application fee forfeited.
3. Applicants are to report to the Centre for Educational Services for Registration and Screening ONLY when they have received an Invitation (through email) and Admission Letter approved by the Director. Applicants are hereby advised to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL telephone numbers.
4. Applicants are advised to follow the application instructions carefully and ensure they follow the stipulated guidelines. Failure to do so may adversely affect the candidate.
