FUOYE announces the start of its online Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening for 2023/2024 academic session. Eligible applicants are invited to register and complete the process before 31st July 2023 on the official screening portal.

In preparation for the 2023/2024 academic session, the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has officially commenced the online screening exercise for applicants to its post-UTME and Direct Entry programmes. Here’s everything you need to know about this process, including eligibility, application details, and key deadlines.

The Online Screening Exercise

The screening exercise for the 2023 academic year is now underway on the official FUOYE portal. The exercise will conclude on the 31st of July 2023. All aspiring applicants are strongly advised to participate on or before this closing date.

Eligibility Criteria

There are a few conditions that candidates must meet to be eligible for this screening process. These include:

  1. Choice of Institution: Only candidates who selected FUOYE as their first choice in the UTME are eligible.
  2. Academic Qualifications: All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses. Further subject requirements can be checked on the screening portal.
  3. Additional Qualifications for Direct Entry: Apart from the above, Direct Entry candidates must possess at least two ‘A’ Level passes (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects. Alternatively, they can possess an ND (Upper Credit), NCE (Credit Pass), HND (minimum of Lower Credit), or a good first degree in another field, as the case may be.

The Registration and Payment Procedure

Each applicant is required to pay a screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N 2,000.00) only. This payment should be made strictly online on the University Screening Portal using any bank Debit Card.

The registration procedure is a step-by-step process:

  1. Visit the official portal at ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme.
  2. Login using your JAMB Registration Number. Note that a password is not required at this stage.
  3. Complete your profile on the portal. Be sure to use a valid email address and phone number for any necessary contact. Always check your email and the website for updates and information.
  4. An activation link will be sent to your email. Click on this link to verify your email account and registration details.
  5. After verification, login again, and you will be prompted to make a payment. Follow the payment instructions as provided on your screen.
  6. Complete your registration by clicking on the “Upload O’Level Results”.
  7. Print out your Registration Slip containing a summary of your registration.

Important Notice

Applicants should note that they will be required to submit a valid e-mail address and cell phone number on their Registration Form, complete the ‘O’ Level section with the required 5 ‘O’ Level credits, upload the ‘O’ level result(s) and submit the application to print out the screening report.

Direct Entry applicants are also required to upload their statement/notification of results.

Applicants that fail to adhere strictly to these instructions will be disqualified from the exercise.
