The School of Postgraduate Studies now accepts applications for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Courses run across five faculties with both taught and research options.
Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s, M.Phil/Ph.D, and Ph.D are part of the programmes.

Ph.D Programmes
- Must hold a Master’s with 60% or more
- Full-time runs 36 to 48 months
- Part-time runs 48 to 60 months
- Includes course work and thesis
M.Phil/Ph.D Programmes
- Master’s result must fall between 55.00% and 59.99%
- Runs for 12 months first
- Students may move to Ph.D after review
- Must score 60% at the end of first session for upgrade
Master’s Degree Programmes
- Bachelor’s degree must be at least Second Class Lower
- Full-time runs 12 to 24 months
- Part-time runs 24 to 36 months
- Includes course work and a dissertation
Get Other Details
- Programme ends once time runs out
- Extension of up to 12 months may be given
- Workers must show release letter from employer
- Those not from FUOYE must request transcripts to be sent from past schools
