FUPRE Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admission

Who Should Apply?

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) is now accepting applications for its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic year.

If you picked FUPRE as your first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 170 or more, you’re eligible.

You also need at least five credit passes (including English and Maths) from WAEC, NECO, GCE, SSCE or NABTEB, in not more than two sittings.

Important Dates

• Application starts: Sunday, 20 July 2025
• Deadline: Friday, 22 August 2025
• Exam begins: Monday, 25 August 2025

Each applicant will see their own exam date and time on the confirmation page after registration.

Engineering and Science Programmes

For courses like Chemical, Petroleum, Marine, Civil or Electrical Engineering, as well as Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Engineering:

Post-UTME subjects:

Chemistry & Industrial Chemistry

Subjects:

• English
• Chemistry

• Physics or Biology

Environmental Management & Toxicology

Subjects:

• English
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Maths or Physics

Maritime Courses

• Maritime Economics and Finance:
  
  English, Maths, Economics, one other subject
• Maritime Transport and Logistics:
  
  English, Maths, Physics, one other subject

Science Lab Technology (SLT)

Choose your preferred SLT area and stick with its subject combo.

a. Biochemical Technology

b. Biological Technology

c. Petro-chemistry Technology

d. Physics Instrumentation Technology

Each has its own mix of four subjects, mainly from English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. You’ll only be considered for the SLT option you choose and test for.

Computer and Tech Courses

Covers:

• Computer Science
• Cyber Security
• Data Science
• Information Technology
• Software Engineering

Subject mix follows the standard for science courses.

How To Register

Head to the FUPRE Post-UTME portal

Steps:

1. Click Make Payment, enter your JAMB number, then click Validate
2. Follow payment steps to pay the fee
3. After paying, click Apply Now
4. Enter your RRR payment code, then hit Proceed
5. Fill out the online form properly
6. Double-check all info, then click Submit
7. Print out your confirmation page
8. You can log in anytime with your JAMB number and password to check your admission status
