FUTA Postgraduate Studies: New Engineering Programmes Admission 2023/2024

The School of Postgraduate Studies at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is currently welcoming applications from candidates with the requisite qualifications for its newly introduced postgraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session. This expansion within the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SEET) introduces an array of specialised programmes designed to elevate the knowledge and expertise of aspiring engineers and technologists.

FUTA Advanced Engineering Programmes Diplomas and Degrees

FUTA’s SEET now provides the following postgraduate programmes:

• Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Industrial and Production Engineering Technology
• Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) with specialisations in:

  • Manufacturing Process Engineering
  • Industrial and System Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Industrial and Production Engineering with specialisation areas including:

How to Apply for Admission into FUTA Advanced Engineering Programmes

Interested candidates are guided to undertake the following steps:

1. Visit FUTA’s official website at https://futa.edu.ng and navigate to the School of Postgraduate Studies section.
2. Complete your application online, utilising the REMITA platform for payment, ensuring funds are directed to the School of Postgraduate Studies’ account.
3. The fee for the application form is pegged at twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) for all programmes.

Attention to Non-FUTA Graduates

Applicants who have not graduated from FUTA should take note:

• Print out the Transcript Label provided with the online Application Form.
• Promptly request that your undergraduate institution sends your official academic transcripts directly to FUTA, using the address provided and ensuring the Transcript Label is attached.
• Transcripts should reach FUTA no later than six weeks from the date of the advertisement.
