Application Process

Interested applicants should fill out the application form by clicking “apply now” and follow the directions until submission. All HUST programmes are approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and other relevant regulatory agencies.

Admission Requirements

• General Entry Requirements: 5 credits at the GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or equivalent (not more than 2 sittings).
• Medicine/Dentistry: 5 credits at GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or equivalent (one sitting only).
• Age Restriction: Candidates below 15 years of age are kindly advised not to apply.

Important Notes

1. Admission into HUST undergraduate programmes is through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
2. Candidates who did not select HUST as their first choice can still apply but will need to change their institution of first choice to HUST at an accredited JAMB CBT Centre.
3. The application is open to foreign applicants, provided they meet the general entry and JAMB requirements.

Detailed Admission Procedures

1. Open your browser and visit HUST Admission Page
2. Create an account using your email and a secure password.
3. Email Verification: Check your email and click on the verification URL sent to you. If the email is not in your inbox, check your spam folder.
4. Log in to the HUST admission application portal using your registered email and password.
5. Purchase the admission form online. A registration number will be generated and sent to your email upon successful payment.
6. Complete the application form. The form is user-friendly, and you can save and complete it later.
7. Make corrections to any omitted fields before submission.
8. Submit the application form. Double-check for errors, preview, and then submit. Print a copy of your form after submission.
