Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) Matriculation List For NYSC Mobilization


Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened the portal for prospective NYSC corps members to check whether their admissions are recognized by JAMB. If your name is not on the JAMB matriculation list, your application to NYSC shall be declined.

JAMB Matriculation List

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has launched a portal where undergraduates of various institutions can check whether their admissions are recognised by JAMB or not.


It is important that you confirm your name from the matriculation list. Only candidates whose names are on this list are recognised as bonafide students from the various accredited institutions

By implication, if your name is not on this list, your application to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme for the one-year National service shall be declined.

How to Check JAMB Matriculation List

Follow the procedure outlined below to check your JAMB matriculation status.

  1. Go to the matriculation list portal at http://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_//CheckMatriculationList.
  2. Select your examination year.
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration number where required.
  4. Finally, click on ‘Fetch My Details‘.

You will receive one of the five (5) under-listed messages as you check your status on the JAMB Matriculation List:

  1. Congratulations
  2. Kindly print JAMB admission letter
  3. Kindly print JAMB result slip
  4. Kindly print JAMB admission letter and result slip
  5. You are not given admission yet.

NOTE:

  • For students that got “congratulations…” as prompt message, you have been confirmed by JAMB. hence you will be mobilized for NYSC for the graduates
  • For students that got “kindly print JAMB admission letter” as prompt message, you are to visit a cyber cafë outlet to print out your admission letter immediately.
  • For students that got “kindly print JAMB result slip” as prompt message, you are to visit a cyber café outlet to print out your result slip immediately. This message is usually applicable to Direct Entry Students
  • For students that got kindly print JAMB admission letter and result slip” as prompt message. you are to visit a Cyber café Outlet to print out JAMB admission letter and result slip” immediately.
  • For students that got You have not been given admission yet” as prompt message should immediately proceed for regularization of admissions. A form will be generated online which should be submitted to the Admission Office for further processing after which you will receive message via email from JAMB. The message will direct you to print out your JAMB admission letter.
