JR Biotek Foundation (JRBF) now accepting scholarship applications from Africa-based Agricultural Research Scientists, PhD students and Academics to apply for its annual Molecular Laboratory Training Workshop at University of Cambridge, UK.
JR Biotek Foundation is a non-profit (501(C)(3)) organization established to advance knowledge and technical skills in applied biosciences and STEM in Africa. We work with top world Universities, including the University of Cambridge to create tailor-made solutions for effective teaching and learning of modern scientific principles and laboratory techniques for students, academics and researchers across countries in Africa. Our goal is to educate, inspire and empower a new generation of scientists and bio-industry leaders who are capable of contributing to Africa’s sustainable development through high impact research, innovation and bio-entrepreneurship.
JR Biotek Foundation is very pleased to offer scholarships to sponsor up to outstanding PhD students (involved in agricultural research in African Universities and Research Institutes) to participate in our world-class Molecular Laboratory Training Workshop taking place in the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Cambridge from 3rd-11th September 2018.

JR Biotek Foundation Lab Training Scholarship Value.
Few competitive scholarships (part and full) may be available to support outstanding PhD students to attend the training workshop.
The scholarship covers the total cost for the workshop. This includes a single room accommodation (with breakfast and Wi-Fi) for 10 nights (Sunday, 2nd-11th September); coffee/tea and lunch and training-related expenses.
