Katsina State Institute Of Technology and Management (KSITM) is now selling the Post-UTME screening form for admission into its various National Innovation Diploma (NID) in ICT and Business Studies programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session. Katsina State Institute Of Technology and Management (KSITM) Post UTME Form

The Katsina State Institute Of Technology and Management KSITM, Katsina, is a new, state-of-the-art Innovation Enterprise Institution (IEI) established under the Katsina State of Nigeria Law No. 8 of 2013. The Institute will run courses leading to the award of National Innovation Diploma (NID) in ICT and Business Studies, approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

The Institute will also offer a wide range of professional and career enhancement programmes, seminars and workshops at advanced certificate and diploma levels. Our programmes are dual-path, with emphasis on both cognitive and practical skills. Enriched by world-class faculty and teaching facility, our goal is to nurture the development of the much-needed manpower in the ICT and business sectors for national growth.

In line with the above, the Institute hereby invites interested candidates to apply for admission into its National Innovation Diploma (NID) programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session:

KSITM NID Courses

School of Technology:

Two-year (full-time) National Innovation Diploma (NID) in:

  1. Computer Software Engineering;
  2. Network and System Security and
  3. Multimedia Technology

School of Management:

Two-year (full-time) National Innovation Diploma (NID) in:

  1. Banking Operation

KSITM Post UTME Eligibility 

School of Technology

  1. NID in Computer Software Engineering (CSE)
    1. UTME Subject Combination
      • Applicants must have a score of 120 and above in the 2020 JAMB-UTME from the following subjects:
        Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, or Agricultural Science.
    2. O’level Subjects
      • Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from the following:
        Biology, Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Computer Studies, Basic Electricity/Applied Electricity, General Woodwork, General Metalwork/Auto-Mechanics, Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Geography, Technical Writing/Building/Engineering Drawing, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Foods and Nutrition/Hotel and Catering, Health Science.
  2. NID in Networking and System Security (NSS)
    1. UTME Subject Combination
    2. Applicants must have a score of 110 and above in the 2020 JAMB-UTME from the following subjects:
      • Mathematics, Physics and one other subject from the following:
        Chemistry, Biology, Geography or Agricultural Science.
    3. O’level Subjects
      • Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from the following: Biology, Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Computer Studies, Basic Electricity/Applied Electricity, General Woodwork, General Metalwork/Auto-Mechanics, Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Geography, Technical Writing/Building/Engineering Drawing, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Foods and Nutrition/Hotel and Catering, Health Science.
  3. NID in Multimedia Technology (MMP)
    1. UTME Subject Combination
      • Applicants must have a score of 100 and above in the 2020 JAMB-UTME in three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Agricultural Science and Economics.
    2. O’level Subjects
      • Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, and three other subject from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Fine Art/Technical Drawing, Economics, History, Literature in English and Geography.

School of Management

  1. NID in Banking Operations (BOP)
    1. UTME Subject Combination
      • Applicants must have a score of 110 and above in the 2020 JAMB-UTME from the following subjects:
        Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Government, Commerce or Principles of Accounts.
    2. O’level Subjects
      • Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subject from the following: Commerce, Business Methods, Government, Civic Education, Biology/Agricultural Science, Computer Studies, Home Management, History, Geography, Literature in English, Stores Management, Financial Accounts, Shorthand, Office Practice, Insurance, Tourism, Data Processing, Store Keeping, Book keeping, Animal Husbandry, Marketing, Salesmanship, Insurance, Civic Education and Principles of Cost Accounting.

Eligible candidates are required to make a non–refundable payment of N2,300.00 (Two thousand, three hundred Naira) only for the Post-UTME screening via the payment gateway as contained on the application portal.

NOTE:

  • The candidate must choose Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM) as the first choice, otherwise should proceed to the JAMB Portal (Profile) and apply for a change of Institute.
  • The screening exercise is scheduled to take place as follows:
    Date: 8th – 12th March 2021.
  • Candidates are advised to keep evidence of their payment (receipt) and application slip for reference purposes.
