First Semester

• Sunday, 24th November 2024
  The university opens for the 2024/2025 academic session.
• Monday, 25th November – Saturday, 14th December 2024
  Workshops for staff begin.
  Fresh students register.
• Monday, 16th December – Saturday, 28th December 2024
  Returning students register.
  Fresh students attend orientation and matriculation.
• Tuesday, 2nd January – Saturday, 29th March 2025
  Lectures begin for all students.
  First continuous assessment runs from Monday, 3rd February to Friday, 7th February 2025.
  Second continuous assessment occurs from Monday, 3rd March to Saturday, 8th March 2025.
• Monday, 31st March – Saturday, 26th April 2025
  First semester examinations are held.
  Easter holidays are observed on Friday, 18th April and Monday, 21st April 2025.
  Eid-el-Fitr holidays fall on Monday, 31st March and Tuesday, 1st April 2025.
• Monday, 28th April – Saturday, 10th May 2025
  Students go on a semester break.
  Marking and submission of results take place.
• Monday, 28th April – Saturday, 17th May 2025
  Requests for incomplete status are submitted.
  Marking and computation of results continue.
• Monday, 19th May – Saturday, 31st May 2025
  Departmental board meetings are held.
• Monday, 2nd June – Saturday, 14th June 2025
  Faculty board meetings are conducted.
• Monday, 16th June – Saturday, 28th June 2025
  SBC meetings are scheduled for results processing.
• Thursday, 2nd July 2025
  Senate meets to review and approve results.

Second Semester

• Monday, 12th May – Saturday, 9th August 2025
  Lectures commence for all students.
  First continuous assessment runs from Monday, 23rd June to Saturday, 28th June 2025.
  Democracy Day is observed on Tuesday, 12th June 2025.
  Eid-el-Kabir holidays occur from Monday, 9th June to Tuesday, 8th June 2025.
  Second continuous assessment takes place from Monday, 21st July to Friday, 26th July 2025.
• Monday, 11th August – Saturday, 6th September 2025
  Second semester examinations are conducted.
  Marking and submission of results are completed.
