Students of the Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil, Kano State, have been directed by the authorities to return to campus for academic activities on July 9.
The university was closed down on May 3 following students’ protest on Wednesday night over the death of their colleague.
However, the Senate of the University at its 84th meeting held on Friday 22nd, June 2018 approved the reopening of the University on Monday 9th July 2018.
Furthermore, Monday 9th July to Friday 20th July will be the period for payment of penalty and Medical Screening charges (N13,000 and N4,000 Respectively).
Monday 23rd July to Friday 3rd August 2018 will be the period of screening of all students at their various Faculties and Department s.
Finally Sunday 5th August is the reporting date of all students to their hostels Monday 6th August will be the date for the commencement of lectures accordingly.
