The management of the Kwara State Polytechnic (KWARAPOLY) has released the payment details for the newly introduced electronic certificate, with the holder’s passport photograph and other embossed security features.

This is to inform graduating ND and HND students for the 2019/2020 session that the management has noted that there is a need for an upward review of the certificate processing fee with regard to the newly introduced electronic certificate, with the holder’s passport photograph and other embossed security features.

On the strength of this, the affected students are expected to pay a sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (20,000.00) only, as broken down below:


  1. Certificate Processing Fee – N17,000.00
  2. Convocation Fee – N3,000.00

Kindly note that those who have paid the old rate are expected to liaise with the Coordinator, MIS, with a view to paying the balance. The audited evidence of payment will be presented to the Deputy Registrar. Examinations and Record, at the point of collection of the certificate. Higher National Diploma graduands are particularly enjoined to make the necessary payment without further delay, since they will be going for the mandatory National Youth Service in May 2021.

Please note that this is strictly for 2019/2020 graduands who are to be given the e-certificate. All the graduands before the 2019/2020 session are to pay the old rate of N12,000.00 and N 3,000.00 for the Certificate and Convocation respectively because they will be given the old certificate.

This letter supersedes the earlier one dated 17 May 2021, on the same subject matter.
