Kwara State Poly Academic Calendar 2025/2026
Kwara State Polytechnic has released its full academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session. The schedule covers first, second, and third semester activities, from resumption to examinations. Students are advised to take note and plan ahead.
Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has published the official timetable for the 2025/2026 academic year. The calendar stretches from October 2025 through November 2026 and sets out the order of events for both full-time and part-time students.

First Semester Schedule

- 13/10/2025 – Lectures begin for new and returning students (excluding SIWES)
- 27/10/2025 – 31/10/2025 – First Continuous Assessment Test

- 24/11/2025 – 28/11/2025 – Second Continuous Assessment Test
- 22/12/2025 – 05/01/2026 – Christmas and New Year break

- 23/01/2026 – Lectures end for all students
- 02/02/2026 – 13/03/2026 – First Semester CBT/Written Examinations (FT/PT/ODFeL)
- 16/03/2026 – 27/03/2026 – Semester break
- 27/03/2026 – Deadline for submission of scores
Second Semester Schedule
Students return by the end of March 2026 for the second half of the session. The breakdown goes as follows:
- 30/03/2026 – Resumption and start of lectures (FT/PT)
- 20/04/2026 – 24/04/2026 – First Continuous Assessment Test
- 18/05/2026 – 22/05/2026 – Second Continuous Assessment Test
- 26/06/2026 – Lectures end for all students
- 29/06/2026 – 03/07/2026 – SUG Week
- 06/07/2026 – 14/08/2026 – Second Semester CBT/Written Examinations (FT/PT/ODFeL)
- 17/08/2026 – SIWES begins
- 29/08/2026 – Deadline for submission of scores
- 21/09/2026 – Consideration of sessional and diploma results
Third Semester (Part-Time Only)
For part-time students, the third semester kicks off later in August. Here are the main points:
- 17/08/2026 – Resumption and start of lectures (PT)
- 09/10/2026 – End of lectures
- 12/10/2026 – 23/10/2026 – CBT/Written Examinations (PT)
- 06/11/2026 – Deadline for submission of scores
- 09/11/2026 – 13/11/2026 – Consideration of results
