General Nursing Training Programme is an aspect of Nursing education that prepares students to become Professional Registered Nurses. The qualifications are accredited and graded by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
WAEC, NECO or its equivalent with Credit in five(5) subjects including English language, Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in not more than 2 sittings.

Completed application forms with relevant documents (photocopies of birth and educational certificates) are to be accompanied with a handwritten personal statement on “WHY I WANT TO BE A NURSE” in not more than 100 words and to reach the Lagos State School of Nursing Complex Igando on or before 23rd May, 2014 at 2.00pm..
Submission of application forms closes on 23rd May, 2014 at 2pm.
Screening Examination comes up on Saturday June 21st, 2014 at the complex by 10am and examination questions will cover English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, General Knowledge, Common affairs and Introduction to General Nursing.
