LASU Sandwich, FCE Abeokuta Campus Matriculates New Students

The Lagos State University Sandwich Degree Programme, Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta campus, Friday, 4th December, 2020 conducted matriculation ceremony for students admitted for 2020 Modular year.

The Dean Faculty of Education, LASU, Professor Tunde Owolabi who represented the Vice Chancellor Prof Olanrewaju Fagbohun, SAN, NPOM, congratulated the newly admitted students for scaling through the admission process. He implored them to take their studies serious inorder to achieve excellence as LASU is known for excellence and this can be seen in the ranking of the institution as 2nd best University in Nigeria by Times Higher Education (THE) global ranking.

Speaking further, he said “as potential teachers and opinion moulders you must be above board in all your deeds and set a high moral standard for yourself which is key to success in life.”

The Deputy Registrar, Academic Staff Establishment, LASU Mr David Ogungbe who represented the Registrar, Mr Olayinka Amuni, Esq, administered the matriculation oath on the students.

The Director, LASU Sandwich Degree Programme, Professor Olusola Oladipupo congratulated the matriculating students and also commended the Management of FCE, Osiele, Abeokuta for their understanding and commitment to the programme.

Six Hundred and Forty Eight (648) students were matriculated at the ceremony.
