LASU Online Registration Procedure - 2014/15


Lagos State University, LASU online registration procedure for the 2014/2015 academic session fresh and stale undergraduates.

LASU Online Registration

This is to inform all the fresh and returning students of the Lagos State University (LASU) that the authorities of the university have released the procedure they have to follow in order to register online for the 2014/2015 academic session.

PROCEDURE FOR STUDENTS ON-LINE REGISTRATION (NEW STUDENTS)

. BEFORE UNDERTAKING ON-LINE REGISTRATION, STUDENTS MUST FIRST OF ALL CONSULT WITH THE HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS, COURSE ADVISERS AND DEPARTMENTAL REGULATIONS TO OBTAIN NECESSARY REGISTRATION INFORMATION.

. ON THE BASIS OF THESE CONSULTATIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS, STUDENTS SHOULD THEN VISIT LASU WEBSITE: www.lasu.edu.ng.

. ONLY STUDENTS THAT HAVE MADE THE ONLINE PAYMENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO CARRY OUT THE ONLINE COURSES REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION GUIDELINE FOR THE NEW STUDENTS: STEP ONE

  • Visit LASU website lasu.edu.ng
  • Pont to STUDENT SERVICES
  • Drag the mouse cursor to UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS REGISTRATION
  • Drag to and click on NEW STUDENTS (UPDATE PERSONAL DATA)
  • Enter your UTME Registration Number (in the column for Matriculation Number)
  • Entre your Surname in the Column for Surname
  • Click on SUBMIT button

STEP TWO

  • On the displayed page, Enter your UTME Registration Number (in the column for Matriculation Number)
  • In the column for COURSE ADMITTED INTO, drop down the arrow and select the course you were GIVEN/CLEARED FOR, during the 2014/2015 Central Screening of the newly admitted students.

STEP THREE

COMPLETION OF THE MAIN REGISTRATION FORM

  • Here, the student’s profile containing the student’s names and O’Level examination details will be displayed.
  • Click on PROCCED button to update the STUDENTS PROFILE.
  • NOTE: On the column for USERNAME, you are to copy your JAMB/UTME REGISTRATION NUMBER into it.
  • Select 2014 as your Year of entry

STEP FOUR

REGISTRATION AS A RETURNING STUDENT

All New students who have completed steps 1 – 3 above would be automatically taken to the REGISTRATION PORTAL.

However, if you are not sure of the courses to be registered, you are advised to log out and visit the RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION PORTAL as soon as possible.

  • Visit LASU website lasu.edu.ng
  • Pont to STUDENT SERVICES
  • Drag the mouse cursor to UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS REGISTRATION
  • Drag to and click on COURSES REGISTRATION
  • Enter your UTME Registration Number (in the column for Matriculation Number)
  • Entre your Surname in the Column for Surname
  • Click on SUBMIT button
  • Click on COURSE REGISTRATION to register your courses

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THERE IS NO ADD OR DELETE OF COURSES AFTER REGISTRATION. HENCE THEY MUST ENSURE THE CORRECTNESS OF THEIR COURSES BEFORE PROCEEDING ONLINE FOR COURSE REGISTRATION.

‘USE OF CELL-PHONE FOR COURSE REGISTRATION IS NOT ADVISEABLE’

After completing the registration of all available/registerable courses, the student is expected to print the following:

  1. Student’s Main Registration Form
  2. Course Form for Harmattan Semester
  3. Exam Slip for Harmattan Semester
  4.  Student’s ID card data form
  5. Transaction Receipt

Please note that, before any student could be able to print course forms and exam slips he/she must have completed the on-line course registration for the current semester.
