LAUTECH Academic Calendar for 2nd Semester 2024/2025

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has released the rain semester calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The Vice Chancellor gave approval through the school senate.

This calendar lists activities for both new and returning students.

Every date matters and must be followed.

March 2025

• Friday, 28 March
  End of Harmattan semester.
  All students go on break.

April 2025

• Sunday, 13 April
  Break comes to an end.
• Monday, 14 April
  Students resume.
  Lectures begin.
  Registration starts without penalty.
• Tuesday, 15 April
  Convocation opens with press briefing.
• Wednesday, 16 April
  Convocation play, research fair and show hold.
• Thursday, 17 April
  Convocation talk and alumni day follow.
• Friday, 18 April
  Jumat prayer at LAUTECH Mosque.
• Sunday, 20 April
  Church service at the Interdenominational Chapel.
• Tuesday, 22 April
  First degree and prize awards take place.
• Wednesday, 23 April
  Postgraduate, higher degrees and honorary awards are given.
  Convocation ends.

May 2025

• Saturday, 10 May
  Free registration ends.
• Sunday, 11 May
  Late registration begins.

June 2025

• Sunday, 15 June
  Late registration ends.
  Portal closes.
• Monday, 16 June
  CBT tests begin.
• Friday, 20 June
  CBT tests end.
• Saturday, 28 June
  Lectures close.
• Monday, 30 June
  Tutorial and lecture-free week begins.

July 2025

• Friday, 4 July
  Tutorial week ends.
• Monday, 7 July
  Examinations begin.
• Saturday, 26 July
  Examinations end.
• Monday, 28 July
  Rain semester ends.
  Session closes.
  Break starts.

October 2025

• Tuesday, 6 October
  Fresh students resume Harmattan semester.
