Learning with Celebrities Conference Holds Today:
Geared towards encouraging students to stay in school and embrace excellence, the notion of education as a primary focus in the pursuit of their careers, West Genius Network is organising a symposium.
The symposium, Learning with Celebrities Conference 2014 (LWCC 2014), is directed at exposing students to the intricacies and socio-economic potentials of their environment.
Celebrity instructors like Joke Silva, ID Cabasa, Naeto C, Professor Pat Utomi, M.I, Obiwon, Byno, Kore and Olakunle Soriyan, whom students consider as their mentors, would teach them rudiments of lasting positive legacies and the importance of doing well in their academics.
With objectives such as; bridging the gap between celebrities and protégés, connecting the classroom with the market place, reducing the number of drop outs, nation-building, encouraging scholars, and improving students’ cognitive capacity, workability and employability, LWCC 2014 is targeted at secondary school, post-JAMB and undergraduate students.
