Prof. Allen Aziba-Odumosi Agih has been appointed as the 5th Substantive Vice Chancellor of the Niger Delta University (NDU), effective June 19th, 2023, for a single term of five years. Rising steadily through the ranks, he achieved the status of a Professor in 2017. Throughout his tenure at the University, he has occupied various positions, demonstrating his leadership capabilities and academic proficiency.
Among his notable roles, he served as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) from 2021 to 2023 and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) from 2019 to 2021. He was also the Director of the Advancement and Linkages Centre from 2012 to 2019, Acting Head of Department of Educational Foundations from 2012 to 2013, and Hall Warden from 2011 to 2013.
