NECO GCE Results Statistics November/December 2024

NECO has released the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External results. Over 84,000 candidates sat for the exam, with more than half securing five credits, including English and Mathematics. Read further for full details and how to check results.

NECO GCE 2024 Results Released

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has published the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External results.

The examination took place between November 14 and December 14, 2024.

The announcement was made by Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, NECO’s Registrar and Chief Executive, during a press conference at the NECO headquarters in Minna.

Candidate Performance Breakdown

A total of 86,067 candidates registered for the examination.

Out of this number, 84,799 candidates sat for the exams.

Examination Malpractice Cases

A total of 6,160 candidates were involved in malpractice.

This marks a 27.7% decrease from the 8,518 cases recorded in 2023.
