NSUK Convocation 2023: Award of Bachelor's, Postgrad, and Honorary Degrees


Nasarawa State University's 7th Convocation Ceremony is set for May 26-27, 2023. The event features a Convocation Lecture by Prof. Brunon Holyst on 'New Approach to Criminology: A Global Perspective' and the awarding of Bachelor's, Postgraduate, and Honorary Degrees.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed, is delighted to announce the institution’s 7th Convocation Ceremony. This significant event, which includes the Convocation Lecture and the awarding of Bachelor’s, Postgraduate, and Honorary degrees, is a celebration of academic achievement and scholarship.

The Convocation Lecture will be delivered by Prof. Brunon Holyst, the esteemed Director of the Institute of Criminalistics and Criminology at Warsaw Management University. Prof. Holyst will present on the topic, “New Approach to Criminology: A Global Perspective,” promising to offer innovative insights and a fresh outlook on criminology in the global context.

The lecture is set to take place on Friday, 26th May, 2023, at 3:00 pm in the Assembly Hall. The event will be chaired by Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I RTD (JSC), The Emir of Lafia, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

The Convocation Ceremony, where Bachelor’s, Postgraduate, and Honorary degrees will be awarded, will be held the following day, Saturday 27th May, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Convocation Arena.
