Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has announced that the President of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency Gottfried Geingob, will deliver the pre-convocation lecture at the 7th convocation ceremony. The date for this prestigious event will be made public soon. The announcement was made by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, during a recent Iftar gathering.
Reasons for the Shift in Date:
Professor Suleiman explained the shift in the 7th convocation ceremony date, stating that it was necessary to allow for proper arrangements and synergy with the Presidency. This is in order to receive the visiting Namibian President and top government functionaries who will be attending the ceremony.
