NSUK in collaboration with WHO/Uniklikum commences sales of Postgraduate forms into the Institute of Molecular Diagnostics and Infectious Diseases Control.

The Nasarawa State University in partnership with the WHO University of Freiburg (Germany) and the Federal Ministry of Health invite applications from qualified candidates for admission into the following Postgraduate Programmes;

  1. a. M.Sc. Global Urban Health ad Tropical Medicine (Public Health)
  2. M Sc Immunology and Infectious Diseases
  3. M.Sc. Molecular Biology
  4. M.Sc. Virology
  5. M.Sc. Molecular Medicine and Cancer Biology

Candidates who are admitted for the Masters programme in Global Urban Health and Tropical Medicine will spend the first six (6) months of the training programme at the University of Freiburg in Germany before returning to Nigeria for the completion of the course.

The training programme for the courses shall run for a period of eighteen (18) months at the end of which students are expected to submit a well researched and written Thesis to the Institute.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates with a good Bachelors degree (B Sc. MBBS. BTech) and PhD in the relevant course of their choice are eligible to apply. Admission will be strictly on merit and subject to the decision of the Admission Board

TRAINING FEES

Tuition fees for all the courses will be charged at Four Hundred And Twenty Thousand Naira (N420,000) per session. Students admitted for Global Urban Health and Tropical Medicine (Public Health) will be required to make provision for their visas and up-keep for the six months period of training in Germany.
