National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Warns Corps Members, Prospective Corps Members and the General Public to Beware of Fraudsters

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has cautioned Corps Members, Prospective Corps Members and the general public against becoming victims of fraud.

NYSC Fraud Alert

Management of the National Youth Service Corps hereby alerts all the PCMs, parents and the general public on the activities of some fraudsters who masquerade as staff, or agents of the National Youth Service Corps, with the intention to dupe unsuspecting victims.

In the last few days, the social media has been awash with advertisements from these criminals, soliciting PCMs desirous of relocation to part with certain amount of money for them to facilitate the relocation.

Consequently, Management hereby once again restates that relocation of Corps Members is free of charge, based on the relocation policy of the Scheme, and on individual merit. Likewise posting and reposting of Corps Members to areas of Primary Assignment, as well as other services rendered by the Scheme.

Management warns the criminals perpetrating this wicked act to desist forthwith, as failure to do so shall be met with dire consequences to be executed within the confines of the law.

PCMs, Corps Members, please, never allow yourselves to fall prey to the antics of the criminals.

Remember to always stay safe, in and out of the camp by observing COVID-19 safety protocols of social distancing, wearing of face mask, use of alcohol – based hand sanitiser and appropriate washing of hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds.

Management.
