Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Admission List for 2021/2022 Academic Session
The names of UTME and direct entry candidates offered provisional admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, First Degree programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session are out. See how to check the OAU admission list below.
This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, 2021/2022 Post UTME screening exercise that they can now check their admission status online.
The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) admission list is now available on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
How to Check OAU Admission List
Currently, OAU prospective students can only access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:
- Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
- Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
- Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your OAU admission status.
Candidates successfully admitted into the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) first-degree programmes are advised to:
- Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
- Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
- Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
- Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.
Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.
NOTE: This post will be updated immediately the list is available on the university website.
You will be able to follow the procedure outlined below once the list is uploaded on the university website.
- Go to OAU admission status checking portal at https://eportal.oauife.edu.ng/admissions.php.
- Enter your admission year in the required column.
- Supply your JAMB registration number where required.
- Finally, click on the ‘Submit’ button to access your OAU admission status.

you wont find it on oau eportal yet,its after jamb has given u admission that u can see ur record on oau eportal,right now u should focus on seeing admission through jamb caps, eportal come after.

congratulations,but u cant login now, oau will announce the day u can start login in, that’s after the whole jamb admission stuff.

hi, i know OAU 2017/18 admission list is yet to b out but i want to ask that even when it comes out does direct entry list comes out with it too? or DE admission list comes out later?
pls how true is it dat OAU only accepts candidates from affiliated schools for her DE admission? I graduated from kwara state college of education, Oro. And dat was d information reaching me.

@tope, Yes if the candidate pass both the pre-degree and the post-jamb exams.

is catchment area cut off mark also grant one admission in first batch or second batch and if one meet up with d catchment area mark, can one be given his/her course.

@sucess, If you score above your course cut-off mark in putme and you chose OAU as first choice, then your name will appear on the first batch list or supplementary list.
the 224 in post ume and 213 in jamb to enrol for predegree next year
@temmy, your post-utme and jamb results are not needed for your qualification into pre-degree. You will have to obtain the pre-degree form and write an entrance exam again before you will be admitted into pre-degree.
Is d list 4 second batch of oau out?
@koleade, OAU second batch list is not yet out but should be out soon.
am here again sir please if am not given admission into oau this year can I use my this year result for predegree next year ? or what abt if am given the course I don’t want ,and I accept can I still enrol for predegree next year?
@temmy, yes you can enroll for pre-degree even after you have been admitted. And which result are you referring to?
sure I said how am I sure I would be granted admission into oau for 2014/2015 session although I scored 213 in jamb and 225 in their post ume to study law I don’t know if I will /can be admitted to study any other course and if yes would it be in their second or third list and which names are found in the second and third list…thanks sire expecting ur reply
@temmy, if you don’t meet up with the cut-off mark of your chosen course, you will be given admission in a course related to the one you chose but with lower cut-off mark. Other list comprises of all those who do not make the merit list.

@Banky, The D.E List will be released depending on the University’s Management order.
please am I sure to be given admission in oau second or third list to study another course eg English cos I scored 213 in jamb and 224 in post ume to study law.please help me.
@temmy, You will be given admission if you meet the required cut-off mark or other courses if you score below the cut-off mark.

Sorry, Im here again..the first list for D.E is yet to be out, right?..that means a second list is yet to be worked on????….and is it too late to submit the transcript????
@Kus Momoh Osomhe Raphael, Direct ENtry list not yet released. You ought to have submitted your transcript all this while. You can give it a try though.

@Rita, JAMB admission status is valid, but to some extent. After checking from JAMB, you need to verify it from JAMB portal. OAU will soon release the list on their portal.

@Rita, not all that reliable. You can validate your admission status from the school portal.
