Coronavirus: OAU Suspends Academic Activities
Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has suspended academic activities over the new coronavirus disease.

In line with the directive of the Federal Government that all Federal Tertiary Institutions be closed, in order to prevent spread of COVID-19, the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of Senate, has directed that the University be closed from Monday, 23rd March, 2020 till further notice.

Consequently, all students are hereby directed to vacate their Halls of Residence and the University premises not later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 23rd March, 2020.
However, staff of the University are expected to be at their respective duty posts.
